New facility will be completed in 2019, creating 1 to 2 thousands of new jobs, and bring new business opportunities related to emerging market in IoT and smart-factory, and be the cradle of new business development.
The Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan indicated that the gross output of Huaya Technology Park and A7 industrial zone may reach half of the Hsinchu Science Park. In addition to R&D and production buildings, hotels and logistics centers can be constructed as well, similar to the Taipei Neihu Technology Park. In the future, the city government is planning to merge the A7 industrial area with Hua-Ya Technology Park, including phase 1 and phase 2, to form a high-technology industrial cluster. At last, the Mayor wished Chroma to become an Industry 4.0 automation solution benchmarking enterprise in Taiwan.
